Our Freshness Guarantee is our promise to you that you will never receive stale, mass-produced coffee left sitting on a retail shelf for months.

Our Freshness Promise

• Roasted to Order: We roast our coffee beans in small batches. This meticulous process ensures optimal quality control and maximum flavour development.
• The Roasting Date: Every single bag of coffee we ship is stamped with its exact roast date. We believe in complete transparency, so you know precisely how fresh your beans are.
• Optimal Packaging: Our coffee is immediately packed into high-quality bags equipped with one-way degassing valves. This specialized packaging allows natural carbon dioxide to escape while completely blocking oxygen from entering, keeping your beans in peak condition during transit and storage.

Understanding Peak Flavour

Coffee is a natural product that needs a little time to "rest" after being roasted.

• The Degassing Period: For the absolute best flavour profile, we recommend brewing your coffee 3 to 7 days after the roast date. This allows trapped gases to escape, yielding a smoother, sweeter cup.
• The Freshness Window: Our whole beans retain their complex, vibrant flavour notes for up to 4 to 6 weeks past the roast date if stored properly in a cool, dark, and airtight environment.

What If Your Coffee Isn't Fresh?

We stand behind every single bean we roast. In the highly unlikely event that your coffee arrives stale or damaged, we will gladly make it right:

1. Get in Touch: Reach out to our customer care team at privacy@premiumbeans.co.uk within 48 hours of receiving your delivery.
2. Provide Details: Include your order number and a quick photo of the roast date stamped on the back of the bag.
3. Our Resolution: If the batch falls short of our rigorous freshness standards, we will immediately ship out a fresh replacement batch at no extra charge, or issue a full refund back to your original payment method via Stripe.
